A funny nickname for a loved one should not cause laughter, laughter, or enrage the guy. A funny name is essential to lift the spirits of you and your partner. Therefore, you should not make fun of a man’s shortcomings using a humorous nickname.
Original
If you want to call a guy original, first pay attention to how he reacts to criticism. Perhaps an invented nickname will offend him, as it may be based on physical characteristics, profession or free time.

For fans of social networks and online games
The most common industry, where interesting and cool nicknames and nicknames are always in demand, is the virtual network. For those who cannot imagine a day without communicating on social networks or playing games online, there are certain recommendations according to which you should choose a nickname. Eg:
- DumplingNaBTR. This nickname is ideal for a guy - the life of the party, who also has a strong character.
- Nephilim, Homunculus, Shere Khan, Baloo - these nicknames are suitable for fans of online games. It is unlikely that one can judge a person’s character and habits from them; in general, they are completely neutral, and are intended solely for the reason of the need to choose a nickname.
- Old Man Hottabych, White Fox, Old Lion, Vigorous Elephant. Having come across such a nickname, almost every average person imagines in their imagination a kind of shirtless guy who loves to joke and laugh at his own jokes.
- Lonely, Magician, Stargazer, Vanishing in the Fog. Such pseudonyms are used, as a rule, by young people who like to give their own image a certain mystery, attractiveness and mystery. However, in reality a person can be a completely convinced and sober realist.
- Wild Boar, Mustang, Keanu, Porsche. As a rule, pseudonyms of this kind are used by green schoolchildren who want to give their image brutality and clarity. However, such nicknames can also be used by adults, if somewhere deep down in their souls they remain teenagers to this day.
- Casanova, Love666, Handsome, Don Juan. Some of these nicknames have already become household names; they are widely used to identify ladies' men, that is, lovers of the opposite sex. But being called by such a name on the Internet is not a very smart idea.
- Catman, Dogcat, Bunny, Zaenish, Fly. These funny nicknames are perfect for people who not only have a sense of humor, but also have a ton of pets. It is quite appropriate to apply them to those who work in the field of veterinary medicine.
Speaking of funny nicknames, one cannot fail to mention the nicknames that friends often give to guys who have distinguished themselves in some way. For example, a person who likes to take a walk, be cuddled and fall into a sweet sleep may well be called by his friends the Green Kitten. For someone who is a master of getting into unpleasant situations, the nickname Rake Runner is simply ideal.
In short, to get an interesting and memorable nickname, a guy doesn’t have to worry about his own head. It is enough to invent and do something so that friends and acquaintances independently come up with a nickname that will not only be remembered, but will also stick for many years.
If most guys, having received a first and last name at birth, remain faithful to them throughout their lives, then you can change your nickname at least every day. However, this is only relevant for those nicknames that a person chooses for himself. In other situations, for example, if a nickname literally stuck as a result of some incident or individual characteristics, it is almost impossible to get rid of it. That is why it is worth choosing and distributing nicknames with some caution, because they can negatively affect the fate and life of a person as a whole.

There are several nicknames that you cannot use to call your beloved man. They are offensive and inappropriate. A sample list of bad names is below:

In English
Now it has become fashionable to call each other English words. Young people have actively taken up this trend, so you can often hear nicknames in English.
- Favorite - favorite.
- Sun - sun, sun.
- Dear - dear.
- Cute – cute, attractive.
- Sweet – sweet, tender.
- Insatiable - insatiable.
- Crazy - crazy.
- Strong – strong, strong.
- Powerful - powerful, mighty.
- My soul - my soul.
The list of words can be continued indefinitely. However, the main thing is to say what is in your heart. This is the only way that affectionate nicknames will produce the desired effect.
In society
It should be noted that affectionate nicknames must be used in accordance with ordinary etiquette. You should not lisp in company or in public places. Only generally accepted words are allowed:
- Expensive,
- Cute
- native
- Darling
Or a diminutive form of the name, but without frivolity: Misha, Seryozha, Lesha. There is no need to let others know that a man is a “babe” or a “sweet man.” This will humiliate and give rise to ridicule. It is better to leave such phrases outside the bedroom threshold.
You should be careful when using affectionate words in the phone book. If “my sweet chupik” is displayed on the screen, then the laughter of his colleagues will shake the building. Well, of course, such an intimate nickname clearly reflects the sexual preferences of the subscriber.
Nickname and name: doesn’t one interfere with the other?
22 February 2011, 14:00 |
blog Reflections on Psychology | Yulia Alimkina 32 chosen
“The Russian people express themselves strongly! And if they reward someone with a word, then it will go to his family and posterity, he will drag it with him into the service, and into retirement, and to Petersburg, and to the ends of the world... Nothing will help: the nickname itself will caw in all its raven voice throat and will clearly tell where the bird flew from" Nikolai Gogol
Julia, Lesha, Marina, Vitya, Petya, Sasha, Natasha... What can you say about these people? “Zhulka”, “Mole”, “Hamster”, “Bumbik”, “Drozd”, “Cat”, “Bandit”... And about these? So, here fantasy joins us in an embrace with the imagination, an associative series runs, a story begins to spin. But the hero of this story remained the same Yulia-Natasha or did they somehow reincarnate into birds, cats and dogs?
Nicknames appeared when Homo sapiens appeared: one person had to be somehow distinguished from another. Later, people acquired first names, and then surnames, which often came from nicknames. For example, the owners of the Novikov surname were visiting people who were new to the indigenous inhabitants of a particular territory. While collecting material for this article, a violent desire awoke in me to find out at least something about my surname Alimkina. After digging around the World Wide Web, I found the following information:
“At first glance, the surname is clearly of Eastern origin: Alim - “wise, knowledgeable” (Turkic). But in the Vladimir and Ryazan provinces, an alim was called an empty, stupid, slow person. Some researchers are inclined to believe that this word arose during the Mongol-Tatar yoke as a spontaneous opposition to a culture alien to the Russian people. It is also assumed that the surname is based on the church name Alypiy. Such a basis is possible, since the true form of the name itself is Alimpiy (ancient Greek Olimpia from the name of Mount Olympus).” (site upfun.ru)
This, of course, is all interesting, but I will say only one thing about the interpretation: one does not interfere with the other!
Nicknames probably find all their owners, regardless of time and space: in the Lyceum of Pushkin’s time, almost all students had nicknames. Delvig - “Baron” (real title). Yakovlev - "Pagliacco" (artist with a thousand masks). Kuchelbecker - “Kuchlya” (surname and character). Pushchin - “Big Zhannot” (growth and soul). Pushkin - “Monkey” (mobility and liveliness) and “Frenchman” (perfect knowledge of the language).
Turning to politics, I would like to give the following list: Vladimir Lenin had the nickname “Bald”, Joseph Stalin had the nickname “Cockroach” and “Boot with a Mustache”, Nikita Khrushchev had the nickname “Kukuruznik” and “Khrushch”, and Leonid Ilyich - “ Armored Bearer in the Dark." Boris Yeltsin had many nicknames: the opposition called him “BEN”, the first president of all Rus' himself allowed to call himself “Chief”. Among themselves, the administration employees called him “Grandfather” or “Elkin.”
Of the current party leaders, the richest in nicknames is Vladimir Zhirinovsky. The nickname “Zhirik” is popular, but others are much more interesting: “Liberalissimo”, “Son of a Lawyer”, “Vervolfovich”, “Definitely”, “Leader” and “Trippsych”. Gennady Zyuganov has an equally rich stock of nicknames in his arsenal: “Papa Zyu”, “Crocodile Gena”, “Zyugandel”, “Gendira Zyugandi”, “Zyuzya”, “Kapeesesnya”, “Zyugashvili”, “Zyugzag of luck”. Vladimir Putin is not so rich yet, but “Puti-Put” is worth a lot.
Based on this list, as well as the list of nicknames and nicknames of my friends, it turns out that you can basically acquire a nickname in two ways:
1. Change the surname or first name: from Koshankov get “Koshak”, from Sukhanov - “Sukhar”, from Starostin - “Old”. These, by the way, are the nicknames of all my friends, and they have become so familiar to their owners that sometimes acquaintances remember not the name, but this distorted surname, because it is often ironic and therefore, alas, easy to remember. By the way, the poet Yesenin considered this type of humor one of the most base.
This also includes the way of reading the last name or first name backwards: for example, we called my classmate named Egor nothing other than “rogE”. And if you turn my last name around, you will get either the name of the medicine, or the name of the goddess (I haven’t yet thought of which is more suitable for the word “anikmilA”). By the way, try “reversing” your names: you might just end up with a great nickname!
2. Remember your profession or hobby: probably the most banal and simplest way. If you work as a doctor, you will be a “Medic”, you cross-stitch, and you will be called “Needle”.
3. To emphasize an appearance or character trait: my boyfriend’s nickname in childhood was the word “Mole.” It was given to him by the kids in the yard because of my admirer’s poor eyesight. “Mole” - you must agree, there’s nothing offensive, but “Seal” has a meaning floating on the surface. This is what we call our friend who has become so lazy that he cannot find the strength to go out for a walk, skate or ride a bike. The consequence was weight gain, and the nickname “Seal” was unconditionally accepted in our social circle.
It turns out that they have labeled a person, but he may have a deep creative crisis! And here are his friends with this notorious Seal! And until now we have not understood in any way: either we are provoking him with such criticism to change his lifestyle, or, on the contrary, we are labeling him. After all, it’s one thing to have the proud nickname “Leader”, “Elephant”, “Zeus”, and another thing to have “Ball”, “Shrek” or “Seal”. Here, as always, everything depends on the person himself. They call me “Nyushka”, but sometimes they can add “Nyushka-Svinyushka”, if God forbid I let a crumb of bread pass my mouth and onto my knees. Frankly, it’s not that pleasant. When I hear the word pig, I have a completely unpleasant image in my head.
Only one thing helps: if you don’t agree with the nickname, don’t react. Well, if just once, and then, lo and behold, the second one responded, blame yourself: you activated access to yourself using a certain command - a nickname. So what you will be called - by name or nickname - is up to you. Exactly the same as choosing: will it hinder you, or will it help you in some way.
What nicknames do you have? It does not interfere?
