Long-haired cat breeds
These include, for example, the Himalayan, Persian, and colorpoint cats. A distinctive feature is long hair that requires combing.
Semi-longhair
A large group that includes the Japanese Longhair Bobtail, Highland Fold, Turkish Van and Turkish Angora, Siberian, Masquerade Neva, Somali and many others. These pets are also fluffy, but their hair is not so long.
Shorthair
Another large group. These include the Abyssinian, Tabby, American Wirehair, Shorthaired American Curl, Bengal and Bombay, Celtic and many others. Their fur is short, sometimes - like, for example, the Don Sphynx - almost invisible.
Siamese-Oriental Shorthair
This is a special group that includes both the Siamese cats themselves and the breeds obtained by crossing Siamese and European cats. This group also includes breeds that are in no way related to Orientals and Siamese cats, but have similar features to them.
Pantheretta
An experimental breed that continues to be under development, but has already been successfully registered at the international IPCBA exhibition. The target is a domestic cat with an affectionate nature, but visually similar to a black panther. In the crossbreeding process, Pisky Bobs, May Coons, Bengal and Amur leopard cats were used. Since the breed has not yet been completely formed, it is not yet available for purchase in the public domain.
Outwardly, Pantheretta looks very graceful and has a strong, athletic body. Characteristic features are a wide wedge-shaped head, pronounced cheekbones, a strong chin and a powerful neck. Slightly slanted eyes can be golden, copper, green or bronze in color. The strong skeleton and slightly arched back are supported by large round paws. The coat is dense and thick, soft to the touch and reflects well in the sun.
Possessing developed muscles, the cat is in constant motion. Characterized by dexterity, playfulness and healthy curiosity. Not shy and not aggressive. Loyal to its owners, easy to keep and does not like loneliness.

FIFE also has four groups. They almost repeat the WCF classification, but differ in nuances.
Exotic and Persian

Semi-longhair
Turkish Vans and Angoras, masquerade Neva and Siberian cats, sacred Burmese cats and ragdolls - in general, this group is practically no different in composition from the semi-longhair group according to the WCF.
Shorthair and Somali

WCF is a worldwide cat organization created in 1988 in Brazil. Currently it includes over 500 clubs around the world, determines breed standards and issues exhibition licenses.
FIFe is one of the oldest organizations dedicated to the nightmare. The International Federation was created in 1949 in Paris and today is a member of the World Congress of Felinology. The main function is standardization of breeds.

The breed appeared as a result of crossing St. Petersburg Sphynxes and a simple yard cat from Pskov (hence the name). Frame
The Neva Masquerade cat is built proportionally. Her body is of medium length, not elongated. The bones are strong and massive, the neck is powerful and short, the chest is voluminous, the muscles are well developed.
Head
The head is proportional to the body, massive, its shape is similar to a wedge, and has smoothly rounded outlines. The wide, low forehead is rounded. The nose is wide, its length is average.
